shitty ditty

pulled and snapped to
nearly away, cracked, rapped
sentience loses sentance and structure
flustered fools rake leaves in drifts and drift in leaves
last clinging, now remained swift
left aloft by the absence of presence and sense
rift slips tense and
rip deepens.
the shadow once here
parted
only for part to return a hole
wholly swallowed
Spit. Forget.


all falls

all
all is all gone and leaked subtely out of ears
disappearing before we got the chance
to rein it in
rein in the rain from years falling in
tears
deftly trampled in leaves under
ears pricked to
the misleading autumnal crunch
an urge not to let go
an urge not to lose yourself
not to lose yourself in this haze
but all that can be seen […]


verse thirst

In five
Fleeting seconds slowly dive
Take ten
The world may spin around from now ’til then
at that point of low
Try not to work out how deep and far depths go
Just dig, clawed thin
Don’t try to dislocate this mess we’re in
For once more this will not escape
Just as one glimpsed glance can write books
Full to the brim, pages […]


oversight

maybe there’ll never again be
another perfect sunrise gazed upon by tired eyes
maybe these thoughts should see
a notion that these entities might not quite be real
but the product of a percussively detailed dream
a squashed mesh in which this city lies, entangled
enraptured
caught in real seconds
and those touched by shuddering disbelief.
trapped on a shifting sand between two lands
