If you have plans to go to another country to explore new places but you do not want to look like a tourist, I have compiled below a list of things that you should do to prevent looking like one.

1. Most of the time, tourists are seen with a map so that they can go to many different places without having any troubles or difficulties. However, when you carry a map with you all the time, it is obvious that you are a tourist. Before you go out or while you are in your hotel, you have to make sure that you have an idea on where you should go and the directions on how you can get there. On the event though that you need to use the map while you are outside, use it discreetly.

2. We often spot tourist because they are the ones who take photographs and videos of everything that they see. I am not saying though that this is a bad thing because many people do this all the time as well. However, if you do not want to look like a tourist, it is best if you take photos and videos of the things or places that you like prudently.
