fleeting

1) liberally doused with rainflecks.  more, please.

2) tonight, london felt as if it were at war with itself.  the self-imposed explosions of thunder and lightning booming for miles around all within the same prescribed half-hour…  at such times, it is imperative to remain resolute and steel onesself against the pure onset of time.

3) numbers change fairly frequently.

4) i don’t know why these are being numbered

5) the board game Operation comes recommended as a good way to pass the time

6) sometimes it is more important to recall the passage of stolen time than that given plentifully in daylight

astute knowledge of a nothing none can see
shadows make us more of how we are
a nod to nights like these

7) oh, to be mint-scented.

I find this vignette pleasing. Number two reminds me of Elizabeth Bowen describing London during the war.

I think numbering is a lovely way to organize, I have never found Operation a good time-passer, and how about vanilla-mint? I have some lotion of that scent.
