Perhaps I could tell if the little heart was wet with something. Maybe droplets of sparkling new or a water spray from a bottle?

This brought to mind one of my favorite Cure songs, From The Edge Of The Deep Green Sea, from the Wish album.

“But it’s just rain i smile / brushing my tears away” Oh! And it aptly ends with, “and miles and miles and miles and miles and miles / away from home again.”

Makes me think of a song a wrote a while ago, not rain that time, but snow… and perhaps a few tears.
