Bridging

I am this side, you are the other.

Link hands, and jump in. Who needs a bridge when one can swim?

(by the way: this is what it looks like in dreams; just before we are overcome by the gritty, mucksodden water and chocolate sky)

Bridges … well, they have always confused me and upset me, for some reason. This particular bridge pictured, along with the Hungerford Bridge further down the river, are the only I’ve ever understood. I long to walk this illuminated runway again. Thank you.

I am sure the bridges wish to see you again.

Love the word, “mucksodden”…the closest thing I can think of is the Seine in Paris.

Beautiful from away, but up close really nasty.

No wonder why it was able to reflect the lights so beautifully.

the Thames is much easier to see in a favourable light, however when it becomes a grimy mess in dreams, it is easy to tar with a different brush.
